Licence Audit & Compliance
A confidential, non-confrontational audit of the CAD, simulation and data-management software across your workstations: what you own, what is actually used, where you are exposed, and the cheapest path to a clean position. Most companies find they can regularise for less than they feared — and that some seats they pay for are idle.
Book a Workflow Discovery CallTalk to an EngineerUncertainty costs more than the audit
CAD licensing drifts. A seat bought for a project stays installed on three machines, a subscription lapses while the software keeps running, a supplier portal asks for proof of licensed CAD and nobody knows where the certificates are. The audit replaces guesswork with a position: an inventory matched to licences, a usage profile that shows which seats are idle, an exposure assessment with the regularisation routes priced side by side, and the paperwork handled through our Authorised Dassault Systèmes Partner companies. The report is confidential and the decision is yours.
- Inventory of every CAD, simulation and data-management installation, matched to licences and subscriptions
- Usage analysis: who uses what, how often, which seats are idle
- Exposure assessment: unlicensed, lapsed and over-deployed use identified
- Regularisation options priced side by side: subscription, term, network, cloud roles
- Paperwork with Dassault Systèmes handled through MSD Facilitators and Ekspe
- Renewals consolidated to one date; tracking set up so it stays clean
- Supply-chain compliance evidence for OEM customers and auditors
- Compliance documentation for GeM listings, tenders and ISO audits
Three outcomes customers did not expect
Cheaper than a perpetual seat
Moving the right users to term, network or cloud licences usually regularises exposure for less than buying the perpetual seats they assumed they needed.
Idle seats found
Usage data almost always shows seats on subscription that nobody has opened in months. Those renewals stop.
Evidence on file
OEM supplier portals, tender bids and ISO auditors ask for licence evidence. After the audit, it is one folder.
From uncertainty to a clean position
Two to four weeks for a typical mid-size design office, depending on how many sites and how scattered the records are.

- Licence-server logs and workstation usage
- Idle, light and heavy users identified
- Peak concurrency for network licensing decisions
- Basis for right-sizing

A report, a plan and the paperwork done
Inventory register
Every installation, serial, licence and subscription in one register, with gaps flagged.
Usage profile
Who uses which product and how often, with idle seats and peak concurrency.
Exposure and options report
Confidential assessment with regularisation routes priced side by side and a recommendation.
Regularisation executed
Orders, transfers, renewals and consolidation handled through MSD Facilitators or Ekspe.
Compliance pack
Licence evidence organised for supplier portals, tenders, GeM and ISO audits, plus a tracking sheet and an annual re-check.
Confidential, non-confrontational, and on your side
We are engineers who supply and support the software, not an enforcement arm. The audit is run under NDA, the findings go to you alone, and the recommendation is the one we would make for our own company.
- NDA and confidentiality before any data is collected
- Engineer-led: we understand what the software is for, so right-sizing is realistic
- All CAD vendors in scope; Dassault Systèmes regularisation through our Authorised Partner companies
- Three-year cost modelling for every option
- Supply-chain, tender and ISO compliance documentation prepared
- Annual re-check available under a support agreement
Questions we get asked most
Will you report us to the vendor?
No. The audit is confidential and run under NDA. The findings go to you; what you do with them is your decision. Where you choose to regularise, we handle it as an ordinary order.
How disruptive is the inventory?
Minimal. A small scan utility or a guided self-survey on each workstation, plus licence-server logs. No downtime.
Do you audit non-Dassault software?
The inventory and usage analysis cover all CAD, simulation and data-management products we find. Regularisation through our partner companies applies to Dassault Systèmes products; for others we advise and you deal with the vendor.
Our OEM customer is asking for licence evidence. Can you help quickly?
Yes. A focused audit on the relevant seats with a compliance pack can usually be turned round in a week or two.
What does it cost?
A fixed fee based on the number of workstations and sites, agreed before we start. Many customers find the first year’s renewal savings cover it.
Does this apply in the UAE?
Yes. Concile Techsystems LLC runs the audit and compliance work from Dubai; software regularisation in the UAE is routed through the appropriate Dassault Systèmes channel for that territory.
Delivered by Concile engineers. Software through Authorised Partners.
Concile Techsystems engineers in India and the UAE deliver the work. Where Dassault Systèmes software is part of the solution it is supplied through MSD Facilitators and Ekspe Software Services LLP, our Authorised Dassault Systèmes Partner companies.
