From concept to mould-ready in fewer loops
Appliances, furniture, housewares, sporting goods, lighting and electronics enclosures: products that have to look right, mould right and ship on a season. We bring surfacing, plastics and mould design, visualisation and product-range management into one SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE workflow.
Book a Workflow Discovery CallSeason deadlines, many SKUs, one design team
The range has fifty SKUs and three colourways; the mould maker wants draft-checked geometry on Friday; marketing wants renders before the tooling exists; a change to one component ripples through a family. The bottleneck is iteration speed and data control, and both are workflow problems.
- Surfacing and industrial design in SOLIDWORKS with imported concept data
- Plastics design: draft, wall thickness, ribs, bosses and mould-flow checks
- Mould and tooling design with SOLIDWORKS Mold Tools and Plastics
- Photoreal renders and animations from SOLIDWORKS Visualize before tooling
- Product-range and variant management with configurations and design tables
- PDM or 3DEXPERIENCE for families, colourways and supplier collaboration
- Technical documentation and packaging artwork hand-off from CAD
- Design automation for configurable furniture and fixtures
Where the hours go back
Surfacing and industrial design
Concept sketches and scans turned into production-ready A-class and B-class surfaces in SOLIDWORKS.
Plastics and mould design
Draft, thickness and fill analysis before the mould maker sees it; tool design in SOLIDWORKS where you tool in-house.
Visualisation
Renders, configurators and animations from the CAD model for marketing, e-commerce and sign-off, before any tooling cost.
Product-range management
Families, colourways and variants managed as configurations in PDM or 3DEXPERIENCE, so one change updates the range.

Our designers work in Rhino or Alias. Can we still use SOLIDWORKS?
Yes. Concept surfaces are imported and rebuilt as production geometry; many consumer-product teams run exactly that hand-off.
Can you check mouldability before we cut steel?
Draft, thickness and mould-flow analysis with SOLIDWORKS Plastics, delivered as a report with the changes recommended.
Do you do packaging?
Dielines and packaging artwork hand-off from CAD, and documentation through Visualise and Composer. Print production itself is not our service.
How do we manage fifty SKUs without fifty models?
Configurations, design tables and PDM. One master model per family, variants as configurations, colourways as appearances, and a vault that tracks all of it.
